Indian Premier League(IPL): IPL is one of the most pickable leagues among all. It has been launched by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in the year 2007. IPL, is the franchise of T20 (twenty-20), a cricket tournament in which almost all the top-rated players take part from the entire world.
Before 2023, 8(eight) city based teams used to take part in the tournament but in 2023, two new teams emerged: Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants. Every teams is supervised by the best coaches, players, and sponsors. Yet not every team can get success in the tournament. According to their performances, people categorize them as the best team, worst team in IPL, unsuccessful team in IPL, or likewise.
MOST WORST TEAM IN IPL 2023:
- Delhi Capitals: This IPL team prior known by the name Delhi Daredevils, co-owned by the JSW and GMR group have performed in total 14 IPL tournaments. Out of all the matches, the team hardly have reach in the finals for one or two times and that too end with losing the game. In Ipl 2023, Delhi Capitals is knowing as the most worst team in IPL according to the netizens due to its worst performance in the tournament.
- Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB): The team is led by the former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli. IPL lovers keep a high hope with this IPL team during every league but it is one of that unsuccessful team in IPL that have reached in the finals several times but have never have won the league. Despite of being a strong squad, the players have to struggle a lot in the tournament but always labelled as worst team in IPL by the spectators.
- Punjab Kings: Punjab Kings or Kings XI Punjab is also known by the name of Bollywood actress Preity Zinta’s team. This IPL team is very inconsistent in terms of its performance in the tournament. The team performed sparklingly best before but lost its spark some time after the inaugural edition of the league and become the unsuccessful team in IPL. According to their performance chart, they have performed their worst in 2015 season of the tournament with 27% winning rate which was the lowest for the team.
- Sunrises Hyderabad: Sunrises have laid their feet in the ground in the year 2013 and got an instant fame and success in the league with their epic performance. The performance of the team was decreasing day by day which was easily seen in their performance chart.
The team become most worst team in IPL due to their low win rate in the tournament. Their worst performance was in season 2021 of IPL, in which they lost 11 matches out of 14 matches.

Every season of the tournament is a great opportunity for the teams to showcase their capabilties and grab the opportunity to win the game. We can’t just declare a team as the best or worst but we can make assumption based on the performance chart.
Every team tries to perform its best but at at times, it all depends upon on luck of the team.
